A Childhood Staple, Artfully Reimagined

{ Friday, March 10th } Sculptor and artist Mutsu Crispin elevates the humble bouncy ball to its highest form at the A.P.E. Gallery in Northampton, Massachusetts.

In the A.P.E. Gallery exhibit Chance Encountersartist Mutsu Crispin presents works from his series, Bouncy Ball Art. Crispin interacts with bouncy balls on all levels: from their organic particles to their playful properties as a beloved children’s toy. In a series of sculptures, “balls of different sizes, colors and visceral qualities are coaxed, danced, bullied or ouijaed into place to create a range of immersive visions.”
