No Words in Manchester

{Thursday, January 18th – Sunday, February 18th} Four artists unite for Things I have No Words For at Kelley Stelling Gallery.

Sometimes there are simply no words. Artists Amy Brnger, Abba Cudney, Jarid del Deo, and Mike Howat certainly understand that, as evidenced by Things I Have No Words For, their new shared exhibition at Kelley Stelling Contemporary. The show asks questions about our comfort zones and how we interact with our communities. These artists reimagine their surroundings to explore such questions. Howat is a visual artist whose work examines interior spaces and the relationship with the objects with which we live, while del Deo’s paintings evoke familiar feelings of home. Brnger makes representational paintings and drawings of interiors featuring cheerful, colorful environments filled with objects and pattern, often offering a voyeuristic view. Cudney created her new body of work through direct to screen watercolor monotype, inspiring a feeling of impermanence.

Things I Have No Words For will be on view from January 18 to February 18 in Manchester, New Hampshire. An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, January 18th from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
