Can’t walk by a rack of clothes without touching an item? Your Mecca for all things woven is in Lowell, Massachusetts.
That’s where Leanne Tremblay operates Loomination, a store devoted to goods woven by hand. She’s the principal weaver and drives the company’s mission: to celebrate the handmade and also use local materials whenever possible. So most of Loomination’s beautiful scarves, placemats, and tea towels had their beginnings on a sheep or a botanical from a nearby farm or forest.
