Danton has contributed to The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, Salon, Flavorwire, and Paste magazine, among other publications, and appears every Wednesday with Joan Holliday on the Best New Song of the Week segment on WRSI-FM in Northampton, Massachusetts. He was the rock critic at The Hartford Courant from 2002 to 2012.
