So You Think You Have a Story Idea?

The truth is, Take Magazine is still in the process of figuring out its look and feel. That’s the fun of a startup – you get to experiment. But everyone needs a signpost or two. So we’ve come up with contributor guidelines to help those of you with story or feature ideas to submit your pitches. Please read them before you get in touch. Really.

Our mission, in a nutshell, is to cover arts and culture that look to New England’s present and future, rather than its past. We seek to capture the character of New England contemporary arts and culture, and the people who are creating it.

If you’re a writer, photographer, illustrator, videographer, podcaster or other creative thing that we don’t know the name of but that might contribute something interesting to Take online or in print, we want your ideas and talents. And we want contributors and ideas from all over New England. I’m talking to you, Pine Tree, Granite, Green Mountain, Bay, Ocean and Constitution staters. Check out those guidelines and be in touch.
